Shopping Centres – Shoe Shop for Livingston?
Shopjacket can really help market those empty voids in Shopping Centres whilst maintaining a retail illusion on an otherwise dead frontage. ‘The Centre’ in Livingston is a fantastic shopping experience and the Shopping Centre Manager wanted to maintain its great look while encouraging a new business in to the unit. The Shoe Shop Shopjacket was very effective..it looked great and was soon replaced by a real shoe shop!!

High Streets – Butchers for Dumbarton?
Two voids that had seen better days on Dumbarton High Street were transformed overnight..into a Delicatessen and a Butchers. The Shopjackets were used to promote a range of support packages which the local Council were implementing to help the underlying problems in their high street. (Client West Dunbartonshire Council).

High Street – Delicatessen in Ripon?
We combined a message from the Local Authority about retail support available in the area with a message from the letting agent showing that the property was available with incentives, and that they were willing to talk to any new businesses to encourage a viable and strong offer in this prominent location. The feedback after fitting from the Local Authority was very encouraging. This was the first time we had combined two seperate messages on one of our treatments.

Harrogate Borough Council commented..”It looks absolutely fantastic. I am so pleased with the result. I will be in touch in the next few weeks about with overall feedback and what we can do next. I sent Jo the Press Release. I will forward you the article when it appears in the paper on Thursday.”

What people are saying

This is a simple and cost effective approach that keeps the retail unit available for potential new uses and in the meantime also contributes to the street scene.

Judith Wallace, Deputy Mayor, North Tyneside

This makes a great difference to our High Street – it looks tidy and professional.

Karen Goldfinch, chair of Whitley bay Chamber of Trade, in the Daily Mail.

The space has been transformed in 24 hours and hopefully it will plant ideas in peoples’ heads and act as a symbol of regeneration for the street.

Robert Ryan, chairman of Business For Dumbarton, in the Lennox Herald.
